To Blog or Not Blog

I had a lovely day today with the munchkin. Went to the river and enjoyed some play time with the girls. Signed my first solo work contract. Took little C to swim lessons and smiled ear to ear as she happily dunked herself. Made some tasty comforting spaghetti for din-din, which Chayse gleefully said was her "favorite." Sipped a nice glass of wine while watching Jillian dump a LOSER and fall in love with three amazing men.

I haven't been blogging, FBing or Tweeting much lately. I guess I've had somewhat of a break from social networking. Just trying to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment of it.

Spending time with E and C the last few weeks has been rewarding. We visited a farm, picked some fruit, went camping, enjoyed a few long bike rides, and took C to her first Blues Festival, fireworks and baseball game. I officially love summer.

It sucks and it's great that E had to head back to work this morning...albeit late. Thank God one of us is gainfully employed and bringing home the reliable bacon.

So while I love my computer and being caught up on all my social vices, I haven't really missed it. I guess that's a good thing. I'll take that lesson and maybe check FB and Twitter only a few times a day...not much changes in a few hours anyway. Right? Unless its a day that Michael Jackson decides to kick the bucket...

And who knows, maybe I'll get to soak up a few more moments of Chayse living life to the fullest with those extra minutes. That's what life is all about. Isn't it?
